In March 2007, The Sholing Technology College took 50 Year-8 students to see Bedales School near Petersfield.  They spent time looking around the new Orchard Building designed by Walters Cohen Architects. Students were also shown around other parts of the campus, in particular the 'Arts and Crafts' style library, to illustrate where some of the design cues for new building were taken from.

The tour was kindly led by architect Giovanni Bonfanti (Walters Cohen).
