Design Training

Over the last 3 years SCA+D has delivered Design Training to the 14 local authorities in Hampshire.  The core audience is people who have no formal design training but who make design decisions as part of their daily working lives and who wish to enhance their CPD.

Organisations that will benefit from our programme will include: Local Authority Officers involved in planning, highways and housing, and Elected Members, Housing Association staff, Planning Consultants, and even Architects and Urban Designers.

This year's design programme incorporates topics which have been selected as a result of feedback from the Hampshire local authorities and includes achieving high density at high quality, how to get the best out of pre app, update on Manual for Streets, an looking at the details of sustainable design.  There are a selection of workshops and study tours to choose from; to see full details, please click on the document below.
